Nunzia Melaccio is Managing Partner of Gentili & Partners’s Milan offfice.
She has a solid experience in the regulatory field for Italian and foreign banks and financial intermediaries, as well as in the structuring and implementation of cross-border projects. She operates with a particular focus on the setting up and start-up of new intermediaries, the distribution of financial instruments and alternative investment funds.
An Executive Director since June 2018, Giorgio Makula has thirty years of experience in the financial markets, where he has played several roles.
Before joining DECALIA, Giorgio Makula headed the Rome and Florence offices of Banca Leonardo and was Vice Chairman of Leonardo SGR. Prior to that, he worked at Deutsche Bank, as Executive Director of DB SIM, Managing Director of Deutsche Bank AG as Head of Equity in Italy, Board Member of DB Fondi. Furthermore, he was Board member at Euram Bank (Vienna), Kairos Fund Int. and One Investment (Lugano).
Rodolfo De Benedetti has worked for Lombard Odier and Shearson Lehman Brothers in the United States. Furthermore, he is Chairman of the Board of Directors and majority co-shareholder of the Italian group CIR, of which he was the CEO for 18 years. He is also Chairman of the Harvard Business School’s European Advisory Board and member of the European Round Table of Industrialists.
He holds a Master’s degree in Political Economy and a master’s degree in Law from the University of Geneva.

Isabella Pedrazzini started her career in finance in 1986 and has worked for 26 years at private bank Lombard Odier in Geneva. As an Executive Vice President, she assumed several positions in portfolio management and was in charge of a significant private clientele. In 2013, together with Gabriel Gumener, she founded Dalia Capital, which became DECALIA Asset Management in 2014.
Isabella Pedrazzini gained a Master’s degree in International Relations from the Graduate Institute of International Studies, Geneva and a postgraduate diploma in Public Administration from Institut de Hautes Etudes en Administration Publique, Lausanne.

Jody Vender has over 40 years of experience in alternative investment. In 2008, he co-founded Astor SIM, which was acquired by DECALIA Asset Management in 2016. Prior to that, Jody Vender founded and managed Sopaf in 1978, a company active in private equity, financial intermediation, real estate intermediation and trading, before selling the company in 2005.
Jody Vender holds a BA degree in Economics from Bocconi University in Milan, where he has also been a Finance Professor from 1977 to 2004. He sat on the Board of AIFI (Italian Venture Capital Association) and of several companies, such as Rinaldo Piaggio, Buitoni, Zanussi, Mondadori and Banca Nazionale dell’Agricoltura. He is currently a Board Member of Humanitas, Coeclerici, Prelios, Assiteca, Guber and Jove Invest.
Nicoló Miscioscia is a chartered accountant (ACCA) and holds a Bsc with honours in Management from Cass Business School in London. He began his career as an auditor in the financial sector, spending 4 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Geneva and Luxembourg. He then co-founded U-Start Club in Lugano, a venture capital platform targeting family offices and private investors, as well as an e-commerce platform based in Torino. At DECALIA, he takes part in the development of new products, with a special focus on illiquid strategies.
