Nunzia Melaccio, non-executive Director and Chairperson of DECALIA SIM, is a Partner at Studio Legale Alpeggiani in Milan, where she is in charge of financial and banking law practice.
She started her professional career in 2000 and since then has been dealing with Italian regulations and international financial and banking intermediaries, both in terms of authorization and on-going operations. She has an extensive expertise in the distribution of financial instruments, domestic and cross-border, and in the structuring and establishment of investment funds.
Rodolfo De Benedetti

Rodolfo De Benedetti is currently Chairman of the Board and majority co-shareholder of the Italian group CIR, where he served as CEO for eighteen years.
He currently chairs the Harvard Business School’s European Advisory Board and is a member of the European Round Table of Industrialists.
Rodolfo De Benedetti also worked for Bank Lombard Odier and Shearson Lehman Brothers in the US.
He holds a Master degrees in Political Economy and Law from the University of Geneva.
Jody Vender
Vice-President of the Board of Directors
Jody Vender began his career in alternative investment in the 80’s .
In 2008, he co-founded Astor SIM, which was acquired by DECALIA SA in 2016. Prior to that, Jody Vender founded and managed SOPAF in 1978, a company active in private equity, financial and real estate intermediation and trading, before selling the company in 2005.
He is currently a Board Member of Humanitas, Coeclerici, Prelios, Assiteca, Guber and Jove Invest. He held Board positions at AIFI (Italian Private Equity, Venture Capital and Private Debt Association) and at several companies, such as Rinaldo Piaggio, Buitoni, Zanussi, Mondadori and Banca Nazionale dell’Agricoltura.
For four years (2016-2020), he was Senior Advisor for Italy at Chequers Capital, a historic French private equity fund.
He is currently Senior Advisor and Chairman of the Private Equity Investment Committee of Green Arrow Capital SGR and Senior Advisor and Vice President of DECALIA SIM.
Jody Vender holds a BA degree in Economics from Bocconi University in Milan, where he was a Professor in Finance from 1977 to 2004.
Gian Carlo Grassini

Gian Carlo Grassini is Executive Director since May 2020 and has forty years of experience in credit and financial markets where he covered several roles.
Prior to his current position Gian Carlo Grassini was General Manager of Banca Albertini Syz & C. and Board Member of Albertini Syz Investimenti Alternativi SGR. Prior to Banca Albertini Syz & C. he worked in Banca Euromobiliare as operations manager, besides being Secretary of the Board of Directors of all Euromobiliare Group companies. He started his career in Banca di Legnano (Comit Group), then continued in Credem Group. He was also Vice Chairman and Chairman of Amga Legnano S.p.A. Group.
Francesco Figliomeni

Francesco Figliomeni worked for a family office, in charge of private equity investments.
Prior to that, Francesco Figliomeni worked for Banca Profilo Spa’s asset management division, where he managed funds and private accounts.
He began his career at Arnoldo Mondadori Editore Spa, as controller and business analyst. Francesco Figliomeni holds a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from Bocconi University in Milan.

Giorgio Makula began his carrer the financial markets in the 90’s, where he played several roles.
Giorgio Makula headed the Rome and Florence offices of Banca Leonardo and was Vice Chairman of Leonardo SGR. Prior to that, he worked at Deutsche Bank as Executive Director of Deutsche Bank SIM, Managing Director of Deutsche Bank AG as Head of Equity in Italy and Board Member of Deutsche Bank Fondi. Furthermore, he was Board member at Euram Bank (Vienna), Kairos Fund Int. and One Investment (Lugano).
Nicolò Miscioscia

Nicolò Miscioscia began his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Geneva and Luxembourg, as financial sector auditor during four years.
He co-founded U-Start Club in Lugano and Milan, a private markets platform specialised in venture capital syndications.
Nicolò Miscioscia is a Chartered Accountant (ACCA) and holds a BSc degree in Management from Cass Business School in London.
