Gian Carlo Grassini is Executive Director since May 2020 and has forty years of experience in credit and financial markets where he covered several roles.
Prior to his current position Gian Carlo Grassini was General Manager of Banca Albertini Syz & C. and Board Member of Albertini Syz Investimenti Alternativi SGR. Prior to Banca Albertini Syz & C. he worked in Banca Euromobiliare as operations manager, besides being Secretary of the Board of Directors of all Euromobiliare Group companies. He started his career in Banca di Legnano (Comit Group), then continued in Credem Group. He was also Vice Chairman and Chairman of Amga Legnano S.p.A. Group.
Francesco Figliomeni

Francesco Figliomeni worked for a family office, in charge of private equity investments.
Prior to that, Francesco Figliomeni worked for Banca Profilo Spa’s asset management division, where he managed funds and private accounts.
He began his career at Arnoldo Mondadori Editore Spa, as controller and business analyst. Francesco Figliomeni holds a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from Bocconi University in Milan.
Giorgio Makula
Board Member
Giorgio Makula began his carrer the financial markets in the 90’s, where he played several roles.
Giorgio Makula headed the Rome and Florence offices of Banca Leonardo and was Vice Chairman of Leonardo SGR. Prior to that, he worked at Deutsche Bank as Executive Director of Deutsche Bank SIM, Managing Director of Deutsche Bank AG as Head of Equity in Italy and Board Member of Deutsche Bank Fondi. Furthermore, he was Board member at Euram Bank (Vienna), Kairos Fund Int. and One Investment (Lugano).
Roberto Bianco
Head of Operations
Roberto Bianco joined DECALIA SIM in January 2023 and has 20 years of experience in the financial and asset management sector.
Prior to his current position, he was Head of Management Control at Banca Albertini Syz & C. S.p.A and of the Supervisory Reporting Office of Ersel S.p.A.
He also worked at Albertini Syz Investimenti Alternativi SGR S.p.A. and Blue Financial Communication.
He holds a degree in Economics of Markets and Financial Intermediaries (CLEFIN) from Bocconi University in Milan.
Edoardo Proverbio
Head of Portfolio Management
Before joining DECALIA SIM, Edoardo Proverbio worked as Head of Asset Management, Discretionary Portfolio Manager and Co-Manager of an international equity fund at Banca Albertini S.p.A.
Edoardo Proverbio is also chairman and founder of Madison Milano and Iconico Gelato.
Edoardo Proverbio holds a Master’s degree in Management from University Commerciale Luigi Bocconi.
